I know... it's been forever since I've posted on my photography blog! There are a few reasons for that, but mainly I took a break for the month of December and spent time with my family, rather than spending my time with my photography. I did a few shoots, but nothing ended up on the blog. My apologies for that. I have a bit of a collection of studio equipment now and will have a Mini Session promo coming up VERY soon. Keep an eye on the blog and Facebook so you won't miss out! But seriously, this one session was worth the wait... I promise!
Now, let's get to the goods.
My best friend Brittany and her wonderful husband welcomed a beautiful, precious baby girl on January 20th and I had the tremendous pleasure of getting to do her newborn photos this past weekend. Although she was a very stubborn (but oh so cute!) little gem and did not want to sleep for us, persistence paid off and she eventually gave in and snoozed so we could get the adorable, memorable shots that we were hoping for. I am so thrilled with how they turned out and can't wait to share them with you below!
Brittany and Tyler, congratulations on your little miracle. She is absolutely perfect, amazing, and gorgeous. I hope you love these photos as much as I do, and cherish them for years to come.

This past weekend I had the enormous pleasure of doing a band shoot with Breaching Vista. When an old friend of mine (thanks, Kirsty!) helped to set up this shoot, to say I was psyched about doing it would be a vast understatement. I was admittedly nervous about the idea since it wasn't something I had tried before, but I am beyond thrilled with how their session turned out! The guys were all super nice and laid-back, and I honestly think this was the most fun I have had on a shoot yet. Anyhow I really could go on and on about this session, so I'll just get to the goods - here are a few teasers. Enjoy!
I have known these two little sweethearts for several years now and doing this photo session was just an absolute delight! Camryn and Morgan were total naturals in front of the camera and certainly made my job easy. Here are a few samples from their session.
A while back I ran a giveaway on my Facebook page when I hit 100 likes. I was thrilled when I used Random.org to find a winner and it happened to be Mel! I've known this pretty mama-to-be for probably somewhere around 15 years. I was so happy to see her and catch up since we hadn't seen each other in years. I really enjoyed doing these photos with her, and I can't wait to see her adorable little girl when she makes her debut which will be any day now! Last weekend I decided to do another round of Fall Mini Sessions. This time they were done at Websters Falls, and it was an absolutely beautiful autumn day! I had a wonderful time that day doing these sessions while catching up with some old friends, and I also had the pleasure of meeting a new amazing family. I have to say I quite enjoy doing the Mini Sessions and I will certainly do a couple of rounds in the Spring! Here are some sneak peeks from last weekend.
This past Saturday, the Fall Mini Session promotion took place at Paletta Mansion. The weather was a little bit chilly and windy, but thankfully all of my clients were really great sports about it!
I had so much fun doing these sessions and I'm very pleased with the results - so much, in fact, that I am more than likely adding a second Fall Mini date later this month! Keep an eye on my Facebook page if you are interested in booking a Mini Session as the date will be released shortly.
