Ginny's Maternity Session
Although I haven't been friends with this lovely woman for very long (a couple of years, although we were only acquaintances at first) I feel like I've known her my entire life. I can talk to her about absolutely anything and she never makes me feel like I'm being ridiculous even when I really am. She's sweet, thoughtful, caring, trustworthy, genuine... I could go on and on! Not to mention her kids and husband are also awesome and we all get along so wonderfully. The cherry on top is that she is having a baby boy any time now, and him and Scarlett are going to get to grow up together! Here are a few pictures from Ginny's session. I can't wait to meet baby Oliver and snuggle him!

Ruby's Not-So-Smashing Cake Smash
Little Miss Ruby just had her first birthday, and what better way to celebrate than with a cake smash?! Well, Ruby certainly had other plans in mind. She adamantly refused to participate in smashing her cake, but we improvised and took her lead and still ended up with some adorable shots that show off her incredible personality! Here are a few of my favourites from her session. Happy 1st Birthday Ruby!

Four Brothers - Jacob, Owen, Aiden and Lucas
Back in the fall I donated a session for a co-op preschool's fundraiser, and Suzanne was the lucky winner! We finally got around to doing a spring session with her four handsome, energetic boys this past Friday. These boys were an absolute riot - so full of life and excitement! Believe it or not, their session was very relaxed and so enjoyable to do with them. They are all so handsome and their mother Suzanne did a fantastic job helping me out with these little dudes when they got a wee bit rambunctious. Thanks to all of them for having so much fun with me! Here are only a few pictures from the many awesome ones I snapped at their session.

The Bolton Family
When scheduling larger groups for family photos, one can almost always expect a wee bit more difficulties - especially when there are young children involved! It can be a stressful time for families as they try to coordinate outfits, timing, and location, and let's face it - it's not always "fun" for the families to put it all together and show up with a smile. Add in a couple of young children who don't want their picture taken, and unusually frigid temperatures for the end of April, and it's really like a balancing act trying to get it all to work out. Luckily last weekend with the Bolton family we all worked together to pull it off! This family was so patient, and they were all very enjoyable to photograph. Here's a sneak peek from their session.
Tyler
My sister and I have been meaning to get some pictures of my handsome nephew in my studio setting forever. Finally last weekend we made the time to do a quick session, and while Tyler wasn't really having anything to do with it, our perseverance paid off and eventually he gave us a few gems worth holding on to! Here are my two favourites. Isn't he just too ridiculously cute?!
Spring Minis - Jen, Tim and Chloe
I had the pleasure of doing a few mini sessions last weekend. It was nice to have one last hurrah before taking some time off with our newest addition since she is due in only three weeks! First up was Jen, Tim, and Chloe. As always with toddlers, Chloe definitely ran the show for our session - but she was certainly adorable and fun! Here are a few samples from their session.

Leah - Headshots
I've known Leah, this gorgeous lady in the pictures, for many years through my sister in law. She was just a little, fresh teenager when I first met her and now she's a beautiful young woman and a mother. Laura (my sister in law) is in school for cosmetology and needed a model for an assignment, and she asked me to photograph Leah once she was finished with her hair and make-up. This was the first time I had done a session like this one, and it was a lot of fun! I didn't spend too much time with editing these as the entire purpose was to showcase the hair and make-up application, and over-editing them would take away from that.
So here is Leah, all glammed up!
Hair and make-up was done by Laura Szoke and yes, she is available to do hair/make-up on my future clients as well!
